My life this week.
TODAY IS A GOOD DAY minus the cleaning mom wants from us. This morning one of my best friend's little sisters got baptized, YAY MARIA! So, I had to be at church at 8 am. and I didn't get to bed until 2 am. Early morning, but it's ok Rachel drove and we got IHOP after (thanks Eric).
I just got home and now me and mom are going to a mother-daughter tea at the church in a couple of hours. Even though I don't particularly like tea, but I love my mother and I get to wear Victoria, my hat. I will just have to get some funky flavor and sweeten it a lot.
Then, after tea, we are going to see X-MEN. I love X MEN. I really do; can't help it. And wolverine is always awesome, so I am pretty excited, even though the Rachel's told me part of it. I should beat them.
WORK> Yesterday, there were an awful lot of digruntled people at the Greenville Bob Evans, and I got my first complaint since I began working there about a year ago. "Our service (meaning me) was beyond terrible," she sneered at me standing only a few feet away. And Shelia (the wonderful hostess) said something like, "I'm sorry to hear that; I never get complaints on Nadia, something else must have been wrong." "Nope, it was the waitress," said the lady. In all fairness, her food did take 20 minutes to get out which I cannot control, but I gave them free dessert. I am aware that I am not as considerate as I can be sometimes, but I never realized how harsh people were daily until I started working as a waitress. Apparently, the fact that my job is not respectable in their eyes gives them the right to be completely condescending and demeaning towards me. There is nothing wrong with being a waitress, nothing. And I will not be told otherwise. So, with the slower cooking times of an understaffed restaurant, I had smaller tips. However, thank goodness, PB and Cindi came in the day before and were way over generous as usual so it helped me out for my money raising this week. I am leaving regular scheduled work times at the end of this month and taking on a more sporadic schedule. Busy, awesome summer fun and work.
My financial support raising???? I haven't looked at my account since the 22nd and I am not going to until the 22nd this month. So, thank you if you have donated and I just don't know, and thank you for your prayers. Please continue to support me, I love and appreciate all of you involved in my life.
Graduation and Growing Up. Gross. To all of those who do not know, You are invited, no matter if I know you or not to my graduation party from 12pm-6pm on the 30th of May. Please come, no need to bring anything but a smile. My graduation is on the 31st at 2pm in our super hot gym too if you're interested.
So, me and Lance (a fellow Arcanum senior, also one of my best friend's boyfriends) were talking this moring in Church about getting old. I think the whole, "Crap high school is over, and I have to do something with my life" feeling is taking root in us. Thank God, I at least know what I will be doing for the next year. My entire family is ridiculously spontaneous, and we decide to do things when they are to be done, no planning, we are late to most things which irritates me sometimes, but thats just us, so planning out this far is kind of amazing fo
LOOK COWBOYS! clad in hats, boots, overalls, and Barney.
P.S. Happy Mother's Day in just a few. Don't forget to tell your mama you love her on the 10th, she is a blessing. I love you mom, but please don't let Richard tuck his Barney t-shirt into his dress shorts ever again. Not appropriate, still love you.
